Poolside action, new hair do's, and movin' on up.....

Yes, G is still sick.  Low grade fever, stuffy/runny nose, sore throat.  Yet, he still wanted to go to his great aunt's pool to swim yesterday.

I should have held fast and made him stay in but I just couldn't.  The boy needs a pool like I need chocolate.  Plus, R was bored out of her skull and T was off on a river adventure with a friend.

So, off to the pool we went.  Luckily, it was just a bit breezy and I was able to sit and read while my husband rough housed with them in the pool.

We also witnessed some snails..um, enjoying each other in the sunshine.

Who knew that an innocent afternoon at the pool could turn into a living biology lesson?

{insert Marvin Gaye song here}
Little known factoid of mine...I actually have a snail tattoo...odd, I know.

Our plans for the rest of the day include staying cool.  And I have a hair appointment, that I finally was able to keep.  I am at the point of crazy with my long hair.  I'm thinking of chopping it off but know I will regret going too short.  Here's what I have in mind but just a bit longer. When I have time and mula to spare I would also like to incorporate some honey color highlights throughout using that baylage technique.
What do you think about this?

My husband also started his new job today which has had me singing The Jefferson's theme song in my head all.day.long.  I am so proud of him.  He works so hard, which also makes it possible for me to stay home with the kiddos.  Love him.

Hope everyone has a fantastic rest of the week.  Be present, be engaged...be as fabulous as you want to be.  Even if that includes having dirty hair and staying in your pj's one day. Hell, make it 2.

  1. Icky snails. :-) I struggle w/ hair too...but mine grows so fast, even if I hate the cut, it's only for 3 weeks, then I have options again. If yours grows fast, be bold! It's just hair. :-)
