Having breakfast witth pirates....The Hangout, Orange Beach

I have to admit, we almost didn't make it to breakfast this morning...I really wanted to sleep in.  But I figured the kids would want to make some more memories.  Even though T is 13 he still enjoys a bit of silliness so we dragged him along too.  I knew G would love the whole interactive breakfast complete with Pirates and Princesses dressed up and in character. 

The Hangout hosts Pirates and Princesses Breakfast all summer long.  There is a pirate walking around in full costume and also a princess.  They hand out wands and eye patches and then lead the kiddos on a treasure hunt around the restaurant.  It was raining off and on today so the treasure hunt was inside.  Just G went on the treasure hunt...the other kids are a bit old for that.

We were seated with a view of the Gulf and it was nice and breezy this morning.

They set us up with a huge platter of breakfast food and it's endless so if you run out of grits (God forbid) you just ask...and you shall receive.  The big kids added a Belgian waffle on the side.

Everything was yummy and the kids really liked it there. Super casual place. The pirate was nice....and never once broke character. He even talked T into taking a picture. 

The kids all put a wish into the Wish Wall while we were there and we browsed the gift shop before taking a picture in front of the giant hand. Blogger is really messing up (another shocker!) so I will have to add those pictures later on.
